I am working on a 3D model - and have produced a layout sheet with several detail viewports of the model with clipping planes. I have used various section styles on the layers, with different hatches & boundary widths. When I look at my model in the model space these appear good. When I look at this in the layout space with print preview on it also seems good. However when I export to pdf, all lineweights default to the same hairline. This problem doesnt seem to happen with curves within the model space but with the section styles and boundary thicknesses. I have tried Vecotr & raster, I have tried various formats PDF/ jpegs/ pngs - I have tried different display modes and still have no luck.
FYI i am running most up to date rhino 8 on a mac
Thanks!!

Hi Imogen -
Could you post a sample file and the output of the Rhino SystemInfo
command? Depending on which display mode you are using for the details, printing to vector will behave as you describe. You should be able to get something out of raster mode.

Hi Wim
See rhino test above - it appears to be the same problem with every display mode that I try .
Thanks for your help !

Imogen Dhesi:
See rhino test above -
Thanks, Imogen -
When I print that file to 600 dpi, the section hatches and the borders are basically invisible:
But when I print to 20 dpi, I get this result:
If you need higher resolution, you can increase the “scale” property in the print settings and/or use a layout that is smaller in size.

Thanks Wim, Carla also solved this bug and the newest rhino 8.15 has fixed it.
THanks!
