Hello everyone,
I have the following problem: I have been printing layouts of technical drawings as Rhino PDF vector files via the print menu for some time now. So far, everything has always been printed correctly. That means lines and texts were vectors, textures were rasterized.
Suddenly Rhino no longer lets me print as vector if the objects have textures but changes the print preview and the exported PDF to wireframe mode.
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?
When I output the document as a rasterized PDF everything is displayed correctly. It just looks very bad because all lines and texts are rasterized as well as the textures.
In Rhino 7, when printing a layout to a vector PDF file, text, hatches, and curves that are on the layout will be in vector format in the PDF file. Details that are in the Wireframe display mode, will also be in vector format. The same for details that are in a shaded display mode but only contain text, hatches, and curves. Details in shaded modes that contain surfaces, SubD objects, or meshes will be raster.
If you are seeing something else, please post both the output of the Rhino SystemInfo command and a 3dm file that demonstrates the issue.

Thank you for your quick reply! The problem was a custom display mode which wasn´t based on shaded mode but looked the same (i think it was a modified rendered display mode) as the one that was based on it. Now everything is working as it should.
