I have found another Layout Technical problem which results in hidden lines showing.
This differs from Rhino 8 Mac Technical Detail showing hidden lines in pdf in that activating the Layout page before printing does not resolve the problem.
The on screen view of the Layout is correct, but the preview in the print dialog and the generated pdf contain hidden lines.

@wim I have another observation. The problem has persisted for some days in a particular Layout Detail. I have been noticing it, but ignoring it on the understanding that a fix would resolve it at some stage. The Detail in question is a copy of another Detail on the same Layout page, with minor layer visibility differences. I deleted the Detail and copied it again from the other Detail, then made the appropriate layer visibility changes. Bingo. The hidden lines no longer showed through. It appears that the Detail was remembering the fault.

Thanks. I probably just copied that faulty detail to see if that also happened in a different technical display mode.
At any rate, RH-86511 was fixed in 8.19. A first public version of the release candidate should become available on April 8th.
