Rhino 8 Mac Regression - Pictures & Textures not updating

I have been experiencing a problem in which I insert an image using the picture command in Rhino 8. If I edit the picture externally, it will update within the ‘texture window’. However, it does not update within the model. Refreshing all textures does nothing.

Does anyone else have the same issue? This is a cherished part of my workflow, any advice is appreciated.

I believe this might be a bug, although not sure.

Last time I checked, if you create a material using a texture map and the edit the texture map outside of rhino, the texture does not update. Updating the texture in this case requires quit and restart of rhino. I hope this gets fixed soon.
