Hi there,
it seems all my ctrl-based shortcuts are gone and I can’t create new ones. Can anybody help me restore them?

Also, I am unable to turn off the projected mode. Suddenly there are strange shortcuts that do all kinds of things I never used assigned to shortcuts I used to have before. It seems my copy of Rhino is unusable. Since I am in a very busy state in a project, where I need this thing to work, does anybody have an idea what to do?
Tried a new installation, same result.
I used to love Rhino, with Rhino 8 it changed a bit and right now I start to feel a strong dislike. As countless others in the forums I think this version is very unreliable… :-/

Testing this in the version of Rhino that you are running, I’m seeing this:

I can go that far, but no further. It will not execute any command I was assigning to that shortcut.
Yet another thing, sometimes I can’t turn layers on or off in details in the layout. But one thing at a time. My workflow relies heavily on shortcuts.

RH-84540 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 14
Hm…still doesn’t work here. Tried to create new ones as well as changing existing shortcuts. Neither are saved after closing and reopening Rhino.
did you install a service release candidate not the regular service release? you can change the frequency in the settings under general. i did not try the new update yet but i gave up on modifying shortcuts earlier due to them being half baked

Tried the SR candidate, doesn’t even accept ctrl…

I was trying to generate new/edit existing shortcuts using the ctrl button. Before SRC14, with the regular release Rhino accepted the ctrl button but wouldn’t do anything, after I installed SRC14 the shortcut editor does not accept the ctrl button. It doesn’t change anything. In fact I can’t edit/add/change any shortcuts using any buttons anymore.
