If I want an array of ten elements spread around a quarter circle, I expect to enter an angle of 90 degrees (or pi/2 radians) and get the first element at 0 degrees and the last at 90. Grasshopper gives me the first at 0 but the last at 81 degrees.
Not what I want, and while it isn’t hard to calculate that setting the range to 100 degrees will give me what I want, the adjustments for less convenient values - 17 items at 27 degrees say - are far too taxing for my tiny brain.
I presume this is fallout from a decision that in a full circle the first and last element should not overlap, but that’s the special case, not this. And as Rhino (8.6.24074.1001, 2024-03-14) spaces the elements how I expect, it would be preferable for gh to be consistent with the mother ship.
Please can Grasshopper be fixed?
TIA
