Dear everyone, i have come accros several bugs in Rhino 8 and one of them strikes me a lot as i need to use it a lot and it doesnt work as it used to in rhino 6 and rhino 7…
i have a pattern made from closed curves, tha pattern is in a group and within the pattern i have another closed curve i wanna splitt the pattern with, and then extract the split curves from theat group with select by bounday curve… i used to use the function , remove from group, then while remove from group is running, select function select by boundary curve…but this just doesnt work any more at all, in fact the function select by boundary curve is behaving very irregular and not properly at all, pls Mc neel fix this as my workflow is rather damaged … i have programmed a definition in GH to do mostly the same, altthought the shatter component doesnt work at all with the complexity i am useing,…it is rather frustrating i must admit and i hope mc neel gets around to fix this, thank you
blue lines are a group, i wanna split the blue hexagons with the inner red circle then extract the blue hexagons from the inside of the inner red circle …it used to work so nicely, now it doesnt do anything appropriate!!!
