Rhino 8, Annotation Style issue

Hi,

I am currently working on a template for all my Rhino modellings, on the V8 version (in French), and I have this unknown information that I can’t understand.

The problem comes when using dimensions commands.
I am working in the “Annotation Styles” section in the “DocumentPropertiesPage” window and more especially the “primary text” and “alternate text” when setting my annotation style.
My settings are also using “alternate units”.

For some reason, there is always this suffix adding in my settings, name as “(varies)”.

And I don’t know if it is because I am using Millimeters and Feet-Inches units on the same annotation style, but I cannot see where the problem is coming from,

Here is also screen picture too help understand !

I hope you could help me with this,

Thank you in advance

Hi Arnaud -

Could you post a simple 3dm file that behaves like this?

Hi Wim,

Thanks for your fast response
I think I have found where the problem comes from

__

When selecting 1 anatotion style, you can see the suffix information displayed in this section (circled in red)
__

When selecting 2 different annotation styles with 2 different suffixes, the software wants to display that there is diferent suffixes, so it shows “(varies)”.
But what is happening is that it actually substitute all selected suffixes by “(varies)”.
(circled in blue)
__

Sometimes it do not happen, as show here (circled in green).

But maybe you can try, maybe it is just an issue that is happening on the french version.

Let me know !
