Rhino 7 SR8 Release Candidate 2 for Windows and Mac (7.8.21168) is now available
To get it, subscribe to the Release Candidate update stream on Windows or on Mac.

Bugs Fixed:

  • Block: Inserted Block turns into display haywire (RH-61930)
  • Display:
    • Objects with color transparency disappeared when they were made into a block (RH-62634)
    • Curves with color transparency were invisible in blocks (RH-64224)
  • Grasshopper:
    • Offset Curve component required Plane input on RH7, not RH6 (RH-62293)
    • Object Details component did not work for points (RH-63519)
  • MeshRepair: Reported increasing total naked edges for multiple selection (RH-64549)
  • RecordAnimation: RecordAnimation needs to learn about RealtimeDisplayMode integrations (RH-57154)
  • Snapshot: Import enabled all clients (RH-58937)
  • Trim: Trimming Surfaces -> Rhino Closes, No Error (RH-64587)

Enhancements:

  • Rendering: Cycles Viewport: Relaunch raytrace (RH-61673)

  • SDK: RhinoSmoothMesh ignoring the bFixBoundaries parameter (RH-64487)
