I’ve had an issue the past couple of days where all my preferences and settings in my Rhino 7 workspace are resetting to the default settings. I’m even getting the “Welcome to Rhino” message. I have a lot of custom aliases and display and command properties that I like to use that have been completely going away when I open the program. My saved file templates are still working.
Hi Matthew - first, save your aliases etc, if you have not, using OptionsExport. Save your toolbar file when you get it looking right, under a name that is not ‘default.rui’ - you may be doing this already but just in case…
Now, there should be a file here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\settings
called
settings-Scheme__Default.xml
Does that file exist?
Please also run the SystemInfo command in Rhino and copy/paste the results here.
