@austinaddress0211 does this fail if you export just a rectangle or circle? If not, please post a file that causes the failure, or send to tech@mcneel.com, with a link back here in your comments.

it’s a full file… unfortunately i cant really post the file here as NDA was signed for my project. I’ll see if it happens with other shapes if it does I’ll send the file over

Another likely cause is a 3rd party plug-in.

In Rhino Options > Plug-ins . change the list filter at the top to ‘Plug-ins that do not ship with Rhino’.
Disable all of them.
Close and restart Rhino.
See if you can DWG export.

If DWG export works, enable them one by one, restart, DWG export, until you find the plug-ins that’s gumming up the works.

So, a simple thing like a polyline or arc does export without errors, is that correct?

-Pascal

seems like if i export just circle it’s fine.

same file i asked my collegue to export it they didnt have any trouble

Hello - In that case, I’d work with John Brock’s thought about plug-ins, above.

One more thing to look into is the naming of objects and the naming of layers.

It could be that a character is used that the exporter doesn’t like.
