I’ve noticed that no other applications can have been launched or used prior to starting Rhino or I will get the spinning beachball as it looks for the license on the license server. No other fix but to restart. The only application that doesn’t seem to affect this is the automatic launching of FontExplorer X Pro at startup. When Rhino crashes, it also can not be re-launched and the computer must be restarted.
I’m also experiencing very slow render times regardless of the quality/resolution using the default current Rhino Renderer. for this I could use some expert advice as to possible settings that could speed the process. Rhino System info copied below:
