Rhino 6 won't snap to points

I divided a curve using the Divide command which put a group of points along the curve. I am unable to snap to these points even though the point osnap is selected. I also tried ungrouping the points and also using the vertex and knot osnaps with no luck.

further update: The snaps work in orthographic views but not in the perspective view.

Post an example file please.

Any chance you have “Project” turned on in your Osnap tool panel?
