Rhino 6 SR30 (6.30.20288) is now available for Windows and Mac.
Rhino will download and offer to install these updates for you, unless you’ve disabled automatic updates.

Bugs Fixed:

  • Display: Moving background image breaks viewport display (RH-60411)
  • File IO:
    • DWG Export: Blank leaders are skipped (RH-59976)
    • File overwritten with a blank on startup (RH-60808)
  • Rhino Installer Engine: Fixed Python plug-in/rhi file failure (RH-60764)
  • TextObject: Set DrawForward to false (RH-60214)

Crashes Fixed:

  • Annotation: System.NullReferenceException: Rhino.UI.Controls.AnnotationPanel.<>c.<.ctor>b__38_19 (Object s, DropDownFormatEventArgs e) (RH-59631)
  • PluginManager: Options Command: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentOutOfRangeException (ExceptionArgument argument, ExceptionResource resource) (RH-59849)

UI Change:

  • Toolbar: Add GrasshopperPluginList command (RH-58413)

Mac-Only Changes

Bugs Fixed:

  • Work around issue with NSBitmapImageRep(NSData) constructor (RH-60086)
  • Display: Front face color gone on selection (RH-49145)
  • Grasshopper:
    • Slow with large definitions (RH-59737)
    • Inactive area of Grasshopper is very slow (RH-60220)
  • Print:
    • Solid hatches print with white lines in vector (RH-58352)
    • Hatches have Very Fine Random Lines on PDF (RH-59353)

Crashes Fixed:

  • CopyToClipboard: com.mcneel.rhinoceros.RhCore:-[__MonoMac_NSAsyncActionDispatcher xamarinApplySelector] (RH-57404)
  • Grasshopper: Crashes on Mojave (RH-60043)

Incomplete Port:

  • Grasshopper: Remote Control Panel GUI issues (RH-57691)

Regressions Fixed:

  • Help: Search is missing in floating Help window on Mac (RH-57606)

Windows-Only Changes

Bugs Fixed:

  • When Rhino WIP is run on Windows, the Rhino 6 toolbar icon is highlighted (RH-60614)
  • Build Process: Check for Updates opens an insecure (HTTP) URL (RH-60128)
  • Grasshopper: Grasshopper plugin loading check needs to be made optional. (RH-60870)
  • Installer:
    • Move RsApi.dll from System to Plugins (RH-60402)
    • Warning during update of Rhino 6 - trouble setting links (RH-60841)
  • RhinoStart: RhinoScript fails to load (RH-60365)
