Hi,
when the Filter toolbar is docked, there is some odd large spacing between some of the elements.
It could be much more compact so that it takes less space.
please fix!
thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel - apparently it has to be this large to accomodate the longer text strings that show up when you set ‘Sub objects’

Hi Pascal, same issue here… lots of wasted screen space and looks messy, too.
So the toolbar can not be smart enough to know it is aligned in a linear way? It’s 2018
V5
V6
Are you sure that you would rather have them all moving to a different position when you check for sub-objects?
Hi Wim,
I didn’t realize there is extra text/filters (just switching fully to V6 this week and this came up while configuring the UI). So no, it would be silly if they were moving. I think greyed out solution per @dk2079 suggestion would work very well, both from aesthetic and discoverability standpoint.

I’ve never used those so neither did I - I just went with what Pascal had written.
At any rate, I see that Pascal created a YT back in the days and I just added a comment: RH-43086
