Rhino 6 reoccurring viewport lag

Hi!

I’m working with rhino v 6 and i experience a lot of reoccurring lag. I dont think its a performance issue since i have had the same computer without lag before.

It occurs maybe once every 30 minutes and lasts for a few minutes (annoying) and its not connected to a specific .3dm file or file size. What happens is just that the viewport lags when rotating or moving the scene no matter which display mode i use.

30min sounds like something autosave related. Rhino will “hang” while saving a file.

What are your settings for this? Are your files on a network drive?

I dont think its related to auto-save, since it lags without any information about saving, my setting is set to every 10 minutes.

and to clarify it doesn’t hang or freeze, rather just slow laggy performance in the view-port.

files are on a network drive, but auto-save is located on my internal drive and i suppose that rhino loads the whole file to the RAM so it only interferes with the servers when i press the “save” button right?
