Rhino 6 materials with vray

There is a big library of materials in Rhino 6.
If I use these materials with Rhino Renderer,
and then switch to Vray Renderer -
Will I still be able to see the materials that I used in Rhino ?
Are Rhino 6 materials compatible with Vray 3 for Rhino?

Yes to all…
If you apply materials to objects or layers,V-Ray will do a very good job of interpreting them, textures included.
There’s also a tool that will convert Rhino materials into V-Ray materials so you can edit them in the V-Ray asset editor.

Shame the same thing doesnt happen with brazil which is the render engine McNeel sell with rhino

Well, Brazil works with those materials out of the box.
