Rhino 6 Crashing on Mojave 10.14.3 (solved)

Hi all,

Im on Rhino version 6 (6.20.19323.01022, 2019-11-19) on a MBP 2018 running Mojave 10.14.3 and whenever I try to create a new model Rhino crashes

the error report states

Crashing on exception: The window has been marked as needing another Display Window pass, but it has already had more Display Window passes than there are views in the window.

I’ve done a search on this and there was a similar problem however it is on Catalina and I am still on Mojave. I have another Macbook Pro 2015 on Mojave 10.14.6 that is working fine (able to open new models).

Weirdly I am able to open and run 3dm files but when im creating a new model it crashes persistently

Yes, we are aware of this bug in Mojave 10.14.2 and 10.14.3 with some Intel GPU based Macs.
We are working on work-around the operasing system bug but are concerned it might cause other problems with later version Macs.

The real fix is to upgrade your Mojave to 10.14.6
