Rhino 6 and WIP rhino render issue

Starting today I seem to be having an issue with rhino starting up.

Rhino 6 currently will only start in safe mode. Tried disabling rhino render plugin and it still gets stuck at Preparing Viewports.

Rhino WIP was having the same issue until I disabled rhino render then it would load. Once it opens and I can load rhino render, it opens fine after that.

Tried rolling back the most recent geforce driver, the 2 most recent windows updates and still the same problem. Also tried 6.28, uninstalling both 6 and 7 wip and still the same issue.

Hm - this makes me just a little suspicious - you might try a clean -reinstall of the driver and see if that changes anything…

Hello - can you please try running repair on both installations? Windows start menu > type Uninstall > click ‘Add or remove programs’ > Find Rhino, click on it > choose 'Modify > Repair.

Ran repair, 6 still didn’t work.
Went back into safe mode, checked rhino render in plug-ins, closed and re-opened 6 and it works.

Rhino 6 seems to keep hanging on the same plugins. Disable in safe mode, open 6, re-enable and it will work for a bit.

Figured it out. Nahimic was causing the issue installed with realtek audio drivers. Removed that and all problems went away
