Hi there,
as per the title description, the Font drop down selection/reaction is insanely slow in my RH8.
here is a video showing the delay between clicking on the drop down arrow until the Font list shows up. In RH7 this happens instantly.
I saw another post in this topic but there were no answers to the OP yet.
Can this behaviour be sped up by any setting or otherwise?
I don’t know if Rhino handles fonts the same way most Windows applications do, but most Windows applications pull the fonts that are installed in Windows. If you have A LOT of fonts installed in Windows, it could take awhile to collate and populate a drop down list. I’ve got another piece of design software that takes awhile because of the number of fonts I have installed in Windows.
That has been one assumption so far, but then I checked RH7 and there it is instant, no delay whatsoever and I can’t remember it being so slow in other versions too.
