Rh8 bug - BlockAttributeText alignment in DWG export

Started to make a description here, but this post already explains the bug perfectly.
Duplicate post, because I’m using Windows, Rh8 SR29.

Bug Report : Text with block attribute not handled properly in dwg export

When exported to dwg, text fields containing Block attribute user text are broken : their alignment is not respected and even the content seems to be stripped in some way. Document user text is fine however. a quick test in Rhino WIP alignment export is OK.

Looks like it was fixed in this YT. https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-88129/File-IO-DWG-Attribute-Text-Justification-Incorrectly-Exports-to-DWG-DWF I’ll see if it can be cherry-picked easily back into 8.x today.

RH-94802 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 32 Release Candidate
