Hi Kiki, Is this something that is being addressed by McNeel?
According to autodesk you can no longer get 18.1, it is expired, only 18.3 which requires a subscription. My revit 2018 is a perpetual license, and not able to upgrade to 18.3. Hence, it seems Revit to Rhino is not available for all Revit 2018 versions.
I chatted with autodesk, and they said he does not believe update is available for perpetual license, but you are right, it says i should be able to update if i have 2018 building design suite with revit included, which is exactly what i have.
i was able to find 18.3.3 update via subscription account portal. It is not available via desktop app.
In subscription portal, you must search using hourglass for 18.3.3 (it was not listed under design suite perpetual license as update).
After searching i was able to download: Autodesk_Revit_2018_3_3.exe
18.3.3 is most current, and only update to revit 2018. 18.1 and 18.2 have expired and are not able to be downloaded.
After installing, “element geometry” within revit to rhino works!!
