Revert to problem

The revert/browser pervious version function is a bit off it seems. Wouldn’t it be more useful for the option to be last open - as in today when I started working?

The Apple frameworks decides what to display in the Revert To menu, so we do not have control of this. In your example, the date shown next to the Last Opened menu item is the date when the model was last changed (the Modified date), not the date when Rhino last opened the file. A bit confusing in the wording, I agree.

Thanks Marlin,

Is there maybe a way to set the frequency of auto saving versions. I find often that the only option I can browse to is up to an hour old. Which means I end up backstepping and losing a good deal of work that could have been saved otherwise.

Oh, and maybe the text should be changed to ‘last saved’

Here is a link to the McNeel Wiki on Apple Versions & Autosave … http://wiki.mcneel.com/rhino/mac/autosaving

What I do to get a Version point to revert back to is to do a CMD+S save at key moments.

Open a rhino file and look at the preview in Finder for that file. Make a change, save and wait a few minutes and you will see that the finder preview has changed to reflect your latest save.

Make sure to read, everything you knew about saving is wrong.

I personally love this feature and forget when on windows to save sometimes.
