Can't revert to previous file version

I deleted my linework and wasn’t aware that I hadn’t locked the layers I didn’t want to touch. I kept working and three hours later noticed I had deleted all the linework in my file. I’ve lost a few days of work.

I am looking for previous save versions but can’t find any… and the Revert button doesn’t do anything…? Online it says there is a ‘revert to’ button but I don’t see it in my interface on Rhino 8.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The revert tools is for Mac Rhino only as it is part of the operating system.
Your only option will be to go diving in the Windows Recycle Bin.
When Autosave files are deleted, they are moved to the Recycle Bin.
Since you know about when this happened, restore a likely Autosave candidate, move it to your Documents folder, rename it , and open it up.
If that version was a little early or late, try again until you find what you’re looking for.

Good luck

Oh thank you! I found it! I wasn’t sure where my autosave files were. Phewhhh… It worked.
