Request: Reduce Layers Panel Color Icon Stroke (and fuzziness)

Hi McNeelies,

I noticed that some icons in the new Layers panel looks “worse” than they do in Rhino 7. Notably the color icon stroke is chunkier and looks blurry. And some icons (e.g. lock) look slightly blurrier to me (captured on a 3840 x 2160 display at 125% scaling):

It would be great to keep things nice and sharp if possible.

Thanks and best,

Anders

Edit: The upload compression made the difference difficult to see. Here are the original captures (1, 2).

Bump…

I’ve created this ticket about pixel misalignment on Windows scaled displays:

Hi @AndersDeleuran,

Just curious - what is your screen resolution and DPI scaling (Windows)?

Thanks,

– Dale

Hi @dale, these are captured on a 3840 x 2160 Dell monitor at 125% scaling. Here’s a side-by-side of Rhino WIP, 8, and 7. I might be wrong, but it looks like it’s not just an issue of fuzziness. The WIP and 8 icons might have a thicker stroke too. Which, especially with the less bombastic WIP icons, looks quite unbalanced/jarring to me:

Here a link to download the original/uncompressed capture.

Thanks @AndersDeleuran
