Request - option to preserve curves when history is broken

Hi All,
I’m having a little problem that may be solved. When you create curves as result of intersecting a surface with a polysurface , or projection of a curve over a polysurface with history, and you extract a surface of the polysurface, the curves disappear without preventing the user.
The workaround is to delete history for the curves first, but shouldn’t be an option to keep curves without history instead deleten them automatically?
