Dragging copied curves breaks history

make a curve copy it with history enabled. move the copy, history breaks. is that intentional or a bug? simply moving a copy should keep history together in my opinion.

Right now, any ‘modification’ one makes to a history-enabled child object will break the history. Modification currently seems to include changing the ‘spatial relationship’ between the parent and child.

thanks for confirming Mitch, i imagined it had worked before but i remember now that this indeed was never the case. still at least simply moving a curve could retain history, when i want to edit the initial shape of a railing column profile for instance… dont know there are some user cases i think.
