Rendering edges but not isocurves

I’d like to be able to render surface edges without including isocurves- the render setting checkbox includes both surface edges and isocurves- is there a way to split that option?

You can uncheck the Show Isocurves object property in the Properties panel and then use the Isocurves post effect in the Render window to just show edges. Here’s an example showing the post effect with and without Show Isocurves checked.
