Really fun Truss Project

Fully assembled and ready to ship. Unfortunately I was busy and did not get a better picture of the completed truss.

B-21 Raider built with Lumber  Just kidding. This looks amazing and the finish is superb.

Thanks!

How did you do in Rhino all those joints? I must import all drawings into carpentry software.

Might be relevant to what you need to do :

Boolean differences and unions mainly, Mergeallcoplainersurfaces cleans it up nice and of course you can’t forget trim and cap.The joints themselves are just made with experience and research. :slightly_smiling_face:
I am working on a grasshopper alg that would make trusses with joinery and automatic beam sizing using just a few specifications like span and pitch. I have had some success but still have a ways to go on that project. Maybe that all answers your question. By the way, here is the company I work for. https://www.iowatimberframe.com/

The joint is so clean, nice project you have there

Thanks! Much appreciated!

did you just use finish that with 8000 grit?

Actually it is just planed material. No sanding at all. A little hand plane and chisel work though.
