Hey everyone, As a product design engineer, I’ve always used other programs to 3D model injection molded plastic parts, die cast aluminum parts, wooden parts, and the final assemblies using them. Very curious about using Rhino for that, and what real-life products have been made from Rhino models. …

Not sure if splitting of two adjacent surfaces with a pipe and eventual building of a blend surface in-between could be scripted. It’s an intensive manual work that includes lots of mouse clicks. I like this approach, because it allows the user to alter the shape of the pipe and make adjustments whe…

All true. A lot would be solved if BlendSrf had a ‘nearest obvious perpendicular’ (or sim) option, so you wouldn’t need to go around adding points. I know you need this control sometimes, and I use it often, but a quick and dirty option would work in a lot of situations…

Hello - see V7’s BlendSrf controls- [image] -Pascal

Awesome! All I need now is a W10 computer and a R7 upgrade… … it sucks to be an independent… :upside_down_face:

I respectfully disagree, especially since Rhino models can now be imported directly in Unreal Engine. Dennis

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should! I find this building repulsive and amazing at the same time.

I would go for “amazingly repulsive”. It surely may be fascinating from a project management points of view and probably under several other aspects, but aesthetically it strikes me as unbelievably ugly.

Well said. Fortunately we learn something from any project that actually gets built no matter how (amazingly and unbelievably in this case) ugly it is.
