Raytraced mode does not work

hello!
raytracing mode does not work anymore in my rhino. it used to wrk yesterday but today i constantly get the attached image (has nothing to do with model or angle, always this image) or nothing happens at all and the little progress bar on the bottom turns orange instead of grey. from the ventilation i can tell that theres a lot of work for the mac but i dont get any image.

why is that happening, how can i solve it?

Maybe resetting the Raytraced mode helps. Via preferences reset the display mode for Raytraced.

If that doesn’t help I’ll need the results of the Rhino command _SystemInfo
