Hello!! Im quite new to grasshopper and I’ve been struggling quite a bit to generate a pattern that is both randomized but in a controlled manner, using triangle in an aesthetic pleasing way. I have been able to generate this pattern using Nautilus plug-in which has been great (attached below as a rhino screenshot), but still it is really quite randomized. I was looking into creating something like the photos I have attached below. Even without the internal offsets, but something similar to this geometry. Maybe a little less random as well but still dynamic to look at.
Hi,
Is it though? To me the pattern is quite discernible. It doesn’t seem random at all.
The pattern from your reference images is based on hexagons. Here’s a quick vanilla (no plug-ins) Grasshopper sketch:

Hi, yess I thought so as well, but the architect that I am working under felt like it was too random. Although I had manually adjusted this to create more control. Creating a column of traingular grid that is stripped and repeated.
Ah this is great. Thank you so much.
