One of the small but great quality of life improvement in R8 is that holding shift while confirming entered distance will flip the direction (so you don’t have to retype the number with negative sign, if you need to move another object same distance in the opposite direction for example).
The only problem is that this works for the moving, extruding and cutting controls but it doesn’t work for rotation. Is there any reason for that?
this feature is very much needed in R9 !
just found somebody else was in need of this.

Yes please! After using Shift for negative distance I caught myself using shift for negative angle several times, with no results, because Shift=negative is now building as muscle memory.

This works in Rhino 9 WIP and maybe a moderator could merge this here with the linked topic…

Better if this feature could work with R8 now. It seems not like one new feature but one bug needing to be repaired.
