Quick question for 3d printing

Set up:

I have two different shapes in polysurface format.

I want to print

Which step do I need to take.

Mesh --> merge --> ??

besides I can’t merge or combine the shapes (as in solidworks assembly), I have naked edges and don’t know how to solve them
