I want to recreate this pattern but I am unaware on how I can control the 3 different panels,
is there a way to control the type of the panel (total in 3 ) according to the curve attractors?
Also I guess the way that they achieve such an effect is by attractor curves and having pre established 3 types of panels that they change according to the distance from the curve?
I am sorry if I sound confused but I am currently learning and although I am aware of more or less what I need to do in order to solve the problem I feel I lack the grammar and vocabulary to express this idea geometricaly!

yes, once you have paneled your surface, you can use (multiple) curve attractors to determine which panel goes where based for instance on the distance from a given panel and the closest attractor curve (range_A = panel_1, range_B = panel_2, range_C = panel_3)
