Question for building precise organic forms

Hi All - looking for some help building precise organic forms with the line work that I am attaching here. I typically use Network curves, BlendSrf, or Sweep2 to build more organic shapes but even when placing additional guide curves, I find my surfaces having imperfections or non-tangent surface connections. I can’t seem to get this one right. Any suggestions about how to approach surfacing for the attached line-work? (If you happen to try building something with my linework, please export as a Rhino5 file - I’m not up to date with my Rhino version!)

Thank you! Really appreciate your help.

Hi Toby - I think I’d start by isolating the bits that can be exact - these surfaces, if I am not mistaken - a revolve (blue) a planar surface (cyan) and a straight extrusion (green)

then work out how to build the transitions in between

Awesome, thank you Pascal. I’ll give that workflow a try!

It is tricky - the curves you have in place are not necessarily the ones that I would choose to build surfaces from for that shape - e.g. some curve fall on the middle of what would be a ‘transition’ surface, so in order to hit those, you may end up making more surfaces then you might otherwise like.

Oh nice!! Wow, thank you so much for working through it. I’m not against changing line strategy so long as the form is effectively the same… How would you build the lines?
