Question about Extrude Planar Curve

From an exercise in the Rhino_Level1 Manual, no faces appear above or below after using the instruction. What can I do to solve this problem?

Resolved, need to open Ortho and mirror again.

Hello - if there are no faces, the curve is either or both open and non-planar. See what SelPlanarCrv and SelOpenCrv selects if anything. ShowEnds can also help locate the break or overlap if the curve is open.

Thank you Pascal! Cause I wasn’t clicking on Ortho so that caused my curve to be open, fixed now.
