Closed Control Point Curve won't extrude solid

I’m working with Rhino 7 on a Mac. I drew a curve and even though “solid” is activated it won’t extrude as a surface. Every other extrusion of an Control Point Curve works out well, but this one only extrudes on the Edge and can’t be selected for ConvertExtrusion…
Any help is very much appreciated!

When an extruded curve won’t “cap” to create a solid, there are generally two reasons - either it isn’t closed or it isn’t planar - or both. Use SelOpenCurv to see if it selects - if yes, then it is open. Use SelPlanarCrv to see if it selects as planar. If it doesn’t, it’s not planar.
