QuadRemeshing a SubD model with creases and the 'hard edges' option

I have a model which is already SubD. When I add creases to it I want to be able to QuadRemesh it again but to see the creases as ‘hard edges’ when remeshing it.

I know I could convert it to NURBS then it would work, but would it be possible to make it so that it understands a creased edge as a hard edge when quadremeshing a subD model to save the time doing that?

what is your end goal?

you can extract the quads again from the subd by running the exrtactcontrolpolygon command without having to redo the quadremesh.
