I ask the first question here. When I made quad remesh for one model by grasshopper, each time I load the number of meshes change. I want to know why and how to make the quad mesh constant.
Hi
This may help you maybe
I used “Quad Remesh” for the mesh model on Grasshopper.
I set “Quad Remesh setting” is only “Target Count”.
I call this quad remesh model is A.
I used “Quad Remesh” again for the same mesh model under the same setting.
I call this quad remesh model is B.
The number mesh of A and B is differense.
A and B must be the same mesh model. How can the output models be the same?
Perhaps because Target is just that… something QuadRemesh aims for but cannot guarantee?
Are you definitely using exactly the same instance of the input mesh?
Perhaps QuadRemesh uses something random so it does produce a slightly different result each time?
You will need to upload your specific case file for more help!
To get an answer, you will have to upload your GH file with the mesh internalised and hope @DanielPiker can respond!
Have you tried with other meshes? Is it just on this mesh? Can you give us any more clues about the input mesh?
Thank you for reply. That happens sometimes about my datas. And happens on Rhino. I can’t send these data but I’try to make sample data.
