is there a way to make these font settings stick as a user defined default? (via right-click in the GH python editor)
… or, if not and it’s an area that won’t be fined tuned for a while, can you consider making the default font size a little bigger for now?

Sorry it took a couple days to respond to this. Yes, I can see where this would be annoying. I’ve logged an item for this one (MR-2794).
Currently, today, we don’t yet have a consistent and coherent approach to editors yet in Grasshopper for Mac. (The next RhinoWIP will support VB.NET and C# script components and they have a different “placeholder” editor …we’re trying to bite off one problem at a time). We have some ideas about how to deliver awesome script-editors (even cross-platform), but we’ve yet to get to this in a satisfying way…hence the placeholder text editors. That said, we need to remember that editing preferences should be “sticky” in whatever editor we end up using.
