I am trying to pull the back corner of the red bit down to the intersection below it.
Can’t find just the right tool.
Hi John,
Select the red item and use the command _SolidPtOn to turn on edit points for it. Select the point at the back corner you want to move and move it down. Edges and surfaces will adjust to follow it. Use _PointsOff to turn off the points afterwards.

perfect thanks
Jeremy that worked great, but I was hoping for a tighter line if I am describing it correctly.
It had a sag to it. Hoping to have a straight line at the tip if the piece like in green and wrap around to meet the two sides.
If this view helps as well.
I have tried pulling, sweeping and just cant get it there.
Thank You Very Very Much
Sorry, also the surface to pick up the curve of the outside radius.
Just upload the file…
RazerThick108.3dm (2.9 MB)
Does this work
RazerThick108X.3dm (2.4 MB)
Just extend the planar surfaces and trim and fill the corner with edgesrf.
If you just want straight cuts:
Or loft:
I will experiment with both, I do like the smother finish Jim.
Thanks to all.
Jim, I have been messing with the file to replicate your fix, can’t seem to hit it.
I like the smooth rounded surface, it will CNC well.
Selecting a surface and extending, trimming all good, but that rounded bit.
Do you mind expanding on what you did?
That loft looked easy, I will try it.
Thanks, the Loft worked great. What command do I use to combine all the parts together and make one piece, I want to make a block and do a Boolean Difference to pull the negative from the corner, if that makes sense, I tried selecting then doing boolean union and I guess it was the wrong tool.
As I said I used the command EdgeSrf. (Its called Surface from edge curves in the Surface menu)
I should have mentioned to make it work correctly you have to select the round edge first. The surface will be a mess if you pick one of the straight edges first.
You can also use loft to make the exact same surface as EdgeSrf does. Just loft the round edge and the point where the two straight edges meet.
I did the loft and it worked, I will also try the EdgeSft as well just for learning.
The problem I am having now is getting all the parts of the piece to join together so I can do a BooleanDifference from a bit to create a negative. That will be the part I CNC to make a mold to make the drawn part.
I was talking about making just the corner triangle surface as a loft. Including some of the straight sides in the loft can lead to trouble.
Lot to learn, but is fun.
Thanks for the help
