Problems caused by mesh division of shell

Hello developer, when I divide a surface into a grid, dark colors appear at the edge, and ultimately affect the analysis structure, how can I avoid this?

Hi, your script is missing the input geometry. Can you also attach the rhino file?

Sorry, I’ve updated the file.

Hello, can this problem be solved?

I’ve updated the file.

Dear @Darren5,
there is a bug in the stabdard Karamba3D mesher which leads in some cases to wrong mesh normals and further on causes the strange boundary patter:

These are possible workarounds

  • orientate the normals using another GH plug-in or
  • apply the MeshBrep-component of Grasshopper or
  • use the WIP Mesher-component of Karamba3D 3.0.
