Problem with ExtractSubCrv

for some reason i can’t extract a subcrv from this.

i have it happen a few times today with other curves so i must be doing something wrong.

Hello - use SimplifyCrv first - the curve is a NURBS curve, simplifying will make it back into a polyline.

Well, it’s hard to know - it looks like it’s got segments, but however it got there, as a NURBs curve it is neither a polycurve (has segments that the command can identify) nor a polyline. But visually there is no clue - @dale - is there some way we can help in these cases?
