Problem With Exporting to 3D Slicer (Bambu Slicer, and Prusa Slicer)

Hello, I am trying to 3D print a holder which I modeled up in Rhino 7, but I get a notification that the model has 189 non-manifold edges when I import it into Bambu slicer. Before I also had an issue where the slicer would fill the whole part with the circle and the supports with one layer, but I am now unable to reproduce it, now 2 of the 4 supports are disconnected from the main part when I use the Repair function in the slicer.

The _showEdges command in Rhino, says zero manifold edges, but when I use the _mesh command and set it to use many polygons, it closes the side which was also closed in Bambu slicer, If I use the middle value on the slider it looks normal, the _meshRepair command shows quite a few errors/warnings in both cases, some of them are: “Mesh has 3 extremely short edges.”, and “Mesh has 512 naked edges.”

If it is relevant information, the threads are imported from a model downloaded online.

I have attached the Rhino project file, and the exported .stl file.
Holder.3dm (2.3 MB)
Holder.stl (5.4 MB)

I hope someone can tell me what am I doing wrong, and how to correct it.

Thank you in advance

Well looking at the Rhino model it seems like the biggest issue is that the inner part you’ve made isn’t all trimmed and joined up cleanly with the rest. That just needs to all be cleaned up so that it all joins up in to a closed solid.

Thank you very much for the pointer. I’ve redone the inner part and it now slices without error. Most likely the problem was that the supports that hold the ring weren’t long enough, as the inside is slanted, so there was a gap near the top that caused all those issues, you could clearly see it when you intersected the supports with the inner surface.
