I used grasshopper and the ELK plugin to create “building” objects from a OpenStreetMap points file. The Elk plugin has a function in grasshopper to make polysurfaces.
When baked into the Rhino Layer, those polysurfaces are NOT visible. If you select them, they are visible as a selected outline. If you render them, they are visible as typical rendered objects. The polylines that were baked from grasshopper as “roads” are visible in the regular viewport: they DON’T have the same problem.
The image shows the viewport with a few objects selected, and the render output showing all the objects that should be visible.

Hello- for some reason the objects have per-object display modes set to wireframe. Select the objects and run _SetObjectDisplayMode
and Enter to reset their display modes to use the current viewport mode.
