Hi, I have problem with planar surface. The closed curve does not seems to create surface? I select the outer rectangle and planar surface. Then, the rectangle is split into 4 boxes and no surface created? I upload my file here, Please let me know where go wrong plss! Thank you!

There is a surface in your file, your visualization is set to wire frames, the “4 divisions” are the isocurves of the rectangle like open surface.
If you right click the view and select Shaded you gonna see that the surface was created, only the rectangle one
but there is only three other curves closed on your drawing
