Surface from planar curves tool not working

I’m following a video and when he used the surface from planar tool it made the square into a solid surface, but when i do it, it just divides the one large square into 4

Hi Graham,

Those are Isocurves, you can turn them off in the display settings.

Or in the various Display Modes

your probably in wireframe display mode, change to shaded or one of the others and the surface will show.

That helps, thank you. How did you get that large options window? Is that because you’re on Windows?

correct, the Rhino Setting dialog is a different layout in than windows File>Properties
