Pipe in my work project has anomalies at target ring

Hi,
V5
pipe ends up as two separate parts at the target ring (brown pipe), yet when I copy the curve and ring out to a new file and use the same global and fit settings it works, it behaves itself.
Initially I was on default local and fit no, but trying global and fit yes I get the blue pipe yet in the works file it still failed.

Hi Steve - it’s not the copying out that helps, it’s the separation from the rest of the curve - I guess the bad thing is the .05 radius corner that is in there - same radius as the pipe.

Hi,
Not understanding ‘separation from rest of curve’.
attached the works drawing that sees it happen with just the relevant details retained.
I dont understand how the purple pipes behaved then the brown is in pieces with the anomaly at the target ring, the purples being more angular went through that route no problem.

Hi Steve - your file tolerance is .01 and the pipe radius .05. Try setting file tolerance to .001.
