Is there a way to take as input for grasshopper component something that is not in the live link components. In my case it is edge line?

For edges, could you maybe use a Tekla Line, Tekla Polyline or one of the construction object params?
Yes. tekla line is also working. just trying to minimize mouse clicks as much as possible.
